Real Sociedad will be missing several key players when they face Manchester United at the Reale Arena.

Seven first team players are expected to miss the game due to numerous fitness problems and injuries.

David Silva is amongst those who is set to miss the game. Takefusa Kubo, Momo Cho, and Umar Sadiq are also expected to miss the game.

Manchester United relentless injury problems seem to be easing, with Harry Maguire returning to the starting XI.

Questions surrounding Anthony Martial, and Victor Lindelof still remain unanswered.

Speaking on Sunday Ten Hag said: “We have to see what develops in the coming days and how they progress, but I hope, when we go to Spain, everyone is on board. We need them all.”

With Sociedad heading into the game on the back of two disappointing defeats in La Liga, and with more injured players than starting players, it looks like the stage is set for Ten Hag’s side to secure the win.

United need to score at least two goals to finish top of the group.

Sociedad go into the game as the only team in the 2022-23 Europe League to have won all five of their group games so far.

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Shaw, Martínez, Lindelof, Dalot, Eriksen, Casemiro, Garnacho, Van de Beek, Fernandes, Ronaldo.

Real Sociedad XI: Remiro, Rico, Pacheco, Le Normand, Gorosabel, Merino, Zubimendi, Mendez, Marín, Fernandez, Sorloth.
