Brighton hope to creep closer to the top four with victory against Crystal Palace, which would extend their unbeaten run against their derby rivals to seven matches.
In their most recent fixture against Leicester, the Seagulls led 2-0 after 80 minutes but still only came away with a draw after conceding two late goals.

“Always the first thing, (to) reflect (on) myself, reflect (on) my decision, my behaviour…you can’t be critical of other people if you’re not the most self-critical person in the building…It always starts with me,” Hurzeler said during his pre-match press conference.
Having lost only once in seven league matches, including a 2-2 stalemate against Manchester City last time out to record their fourth draw in six games, Palace manager Oliver Glasner will be looking for another positive result to further distance themselves from the relegation zone.

“It’s getting the points, improving the performances and it’s the next opportunity against Brighton,” said Glasner in his press conference previewing the game.
Midfielder Adam Wharton still isn’t available for the Eagles having not played since October while Brighton defender Joel Veltman has been rated a 50/50 possibility of playing by Hurzeler with Jack Hinshelwood, Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner deemed less likely chances.
