As Brighton and Hove Albion enter their first season playing European football; Cameron Beards, Jake Martin and Lewis Carr asked the general public around the Amex stadium and across university campuses their feelings on Brighton’s start to the season and how they think playing in Europe will affect the club’s performance over the season.
Brighton fan, Freddie Simpson, 19, said the departure of the Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo without an adequate replacement could severely impact the club’s European ambitions.
“Lack of experience is a bit of an issue particularly in the cup competitions,” he said. “Haven’t really replaced Caceido”

“Had ups and downs but had a reality check in Europe against AEK Athens,” Cam Vaziri, 20, told Overtime Online.
