Another big game in the AFC playoff race sees the number one seed Kansas City Chiefs face off against the number two seed Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, Buffalo.

The Kansas City Chiefs are currently 9-0 and are looking to become only the second team to go undefeated throughout the season and the first to do so since the 1972 Miami Dolphins. The Buffalo Bills are currently sat at 8-2. Both teams sit top of their respective divisions – the Chiefs in the AFC West and the Bills in the AFC East.

The Chiefs blocked a last minute 35 yard field goal from Will Lutz to maintain their unbeaten run as they beat the Denver Broncos 16-14. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went 28-42 for 266 yards and a touchdown. TE Travis Kelce had eight receptions from 12 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown.

The Bills had a slightly easier result with a 30-20 win against the Indianapolis Colts. Bills QB Josh Allen went 22-37 for 280 yards and 1 interception. Allen also ran for 80 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown. The Bills were helped with Colts QB Joe Flacco throwing three interceptions, one of those to Bills CB Taron Johnson who returned it for a 23 yard touchdown.

Prediction – Being a Dolphins fan, I want the Bills to stop the Chiefs unbeaten run and keep the ’72 Dolphins as the ONLY undefeated team in the Superbowl era, and I can see it happening. The Bills are tough to beat at home so Bills win in a great game.

Other games in the late window are (Bold are predicted winners):

  • Atlanta Falcons @ Denver Broncos
  • Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
  • Cincinnati Bengals @ Los Angeles Chargers (SNF)

And on Monday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys face the Houston Texans at home.
