The Three Lions secure the win and will meet France in the quarterfinals on Saturday after an impressive victory against Senegal.
Three fantastic goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka brought an end to Senegal’s World Cup dreams.
Star boy Jude Bellingham broke into the Senegal area and set up the first goal for Henderson who smashed the ball straight past Edouard Mendy.
Kane than finally joined the goal scoring party and scored his first goal of the 2022 World Cup curtesy of Bellingham; Kane made no mistakes and smashed the ball into the back of Mendy’s net.
Phil Foden was the creator of Saka’s goal which allowed for a perfect dink into the back of the net and past a helpless Mendy and wrapped the game up in the 57th minute.
Senegal had two of the best chances of the game and took advantage of England’s lack of pace and sloppy play at times.
The African champions offered very little after the third England goal and looked utterly demoralised and battered throughout the second half.
Kane is now just one behind Wayne Rooney’s all-time record of 53 England goals.
