Norwegian forward Erling Haaland, 24, had made the ultimate decision to stay at Manchester City. The striker was reportedly interested to join Paris St-Germain before the window shuts, however the deal broke down with Haaland favouring a stay in Manchester.

Chelsea have signed Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli for €81 million. Osimhen has signed a six-year deal worth €360,000 per week

French centre-back William Saliba, 23, was being examined closely by current Champions League holders Real Madrid but was said to not be looking for a move away from Arsenal, though Los Blancos are making the Arsenal defender ‘top priority’ for 2025.

Premier League clubs Manchester United and Newcastle United were monitoring the likes of Randal Kolo Muani and Jonathan David respectively,
however Manchester United’s €70,400,000 offer was rejected by Paris St. Germain following the French Champions failure in securing a deal for Erling Haaland.


Liverpool was busy themselves throughout Deadline Day, as they have spent much time looking for possible replacements for the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold (26), Virgil Van Dijk (33) and Mohamed Salah (32) whose contracts are coming to an end.

Liverpool were however successful in extending French international Ibrahima Konate’s contract with the 25-year-old committing his long term future to Arne Slot’s team.
