Manchester United 3–2 Liverpool- Match Report
Manchester United have reached the fifth round of the FA Cup after Bruno Fernandes’ free kick wins a goal laden game.

Liverpool hit the front first with Mo Salah coolly lifting over the on-rushing Dean Henderson from Roberto Firmino’s pass.
United levelled on the counter with Mason Greenwood’s first goal in 10 games. Paul Pogba’s pass under pressure, found Marcus Rashford out wide who delivered an inch perfect cross-field pass to Greenwood, who slotted across Alisson.
United led early in the second half. Mason Greenwood returned the favour to Marcus Rashford with his pass just beyond the stretch of Rhys Williams. Rashford raced through to slot United in front.
Liverpool then equalised after Edinson Cavani gave the ball away cheaply on the half-way line before Liverpool sprang quickly. Roberto Firmino rolled in before squaring to Salah who had a tap in.
Cavani missed the chances to add a fourth in the 88th minute, Fernandes’ cross found the Uruguayan whose header rooted Alisson and was deflected away by the post.
Liverpool have now won once from their last games, the victory in the previous round against Aston Villa’s youthful side. They now embarked on a season define run of games with Tottenham Hotspur first up in midweek. United will resume their push for the title against Sheffield United on Wednesday.
