Dario Vidosic was delighted with the response from the players after their 3-2 win against West Ham at the Amex.
Brighton were beaten 5-0 by Arsenal in their last game, so this result was a good response. Vidosic said “it feels like we are getting better and better, other than last week, but you know, great great response and a great win.”
Embed from Getty ImagesDario also praised Fran Kirby, after she recorded her 100th goal involvement with her assist for the first goal from Rachel McLauchlan, as well as scoring the winner. He said “that’s a fantastic achievement” He went on to say that Kirby was there “when we needed her. You see the quality on the pitch, but then it’s also what she does in the changing room, on the training field…she’s the first to lead by example.”
West Ham manager, Rehanne Skinner was equally happy with her team’s performance, despite the result. She said she was “really proud of the players with everything they’ve put in today, and I think we showed great character to come back from 2-0 down.” She went on to say that “i think we’ve created two exceptional chances and we just need to keep plugging away.”
