Week 12 is full of games with lots of potential for shocks, none more so than the Thursday Night game when the high-flying Pittsburgh Steelers travel to face the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field, Cleveland.
Embed from Getty ImagesThis AFC North clash has all the potential for the Steelers to slip up. Pittsburgh are currently sitting in the 3rd seed spot with an 8-2 record. Cleveland, however, are exactly the opposite. Their record stands at 2-8 and they currently hold the 3rd pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Embed from Getty ImagesSteelers QB Russell Wilson has only played three games this season, but is 73-121 for 942 yards, with six touchdowns and two interceptions. He replaced Justin Fields during their week six win at the Las Vegas Raiders. Fields started the season well with a record of 4-2. He was 106-160 for 1106 yards, with five touchdowns and one interception. Fields had also rushed for 248 yards from 57 attempts and scored five touchdowns.
Embed from Getty ImagesThe Browns have also changed their QB, but due to injury. Deshaun Watson started the season was 137-216 for 1148 yards, with five touchdowns and three interceptions. However, his season ended with an Achilles injury, and he was replaced with Jameis Winston, who has played the last three games and has been named starter for the rest of the season. He is currently 89-145 for 1047 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions.
Prediction – As much as Pittsburgh should win and win comfortably, they could quite easily lose this game. There is a lot at stake though for the Steelers, as the Buffalo Bills are on a bye, the Steelers could move to the number two seed. The Steelers win this one by seven to ten points.
